ACLU Hope and Sanity Poster

A poster design for the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU). The project is for a poetry reading called “A Small Reading to Restore Hope and Sanity”. I drew inspiration from the idea that we as human beings can overcome any hardship. I decided to use a budding plant growing out of the rubble to depict that. In addition, I used a limited color scheme and a strong san serif to give it a more industrial and gritty feel.
